Introduction
Hello . Welcome to Skirmish League! Since this is one of your first visits to this site we highly recommended that you read both the Rules and the FAQ pages. You can find both of these pages by clicking on the corresponding links to your left.

Skirmish League is a league run by Infantry players that plays in the zone "[League] Skirmish League". Access to the league zone is controlled by the league staff. To access the zone, you must obtain an access permit for the alias that you signed up on this site (the alias that you play on and the alias that you sign up on this site have to match exactly). Obtaining a permit is free, but you must contact one of the League Moderators or the League Administrators in-game, and request a permit. If you are unable to find them in-game, sending a SLmail will suffice. You can find the aliases of the Admin and League Mods on the staff page of this site. An explanation of how to send SLmail is towards the bottom of this page. Once you have obtained your permit, it will remain valid for the duration of your activity in Skirmish League.

Below you will find a brief description of all of the links you see under the General Section on the left. It should help you navigate around and become more familiar with this site.

The News Link on the left is where you find find all the information that is important to the running of the league. You should read any new news items when they are posted because the majority of them are relevant to all of the Skirmish League players.

» The Schedule and Standings links will provide information about upcoming and past games as well as the current standings of active squads. If you click on one of the games you will see a breakdown of the game as well as predictions to the outcome, and possibly a results summary if the game has been completed.

» The Top 10 Link provides a listing off the top 10 players of various catagories.

» The public forum is where you can communicate to all of the other players of Skirmish League. Due to the potential for abuse and malicious you will only be able to post 1 new topic and 2 replies to topics and hour. However, as you participate more and more in Skirmish League (SL), you will gain the ability to post more topics and replies.

» The Officer's Forum is for long time members of the community to dicuss new ideas and current issues with the league. It is restricted to only those members of Skirmish League that have participated for quite a while.

» The Players and Squads links will provide you with a list of all of the players and squads in Skirmish League. You can click on any of the players/squads in the listing to receive detailed information about the player/squad.

» The Hall of Fame and Awards links both pertain to previous seasons of SL. The hall of fame displays the previous seasons Champions in a team photo. The Awards displays all of the squads/players who attained any of the various SL Awards.

» The Rules section is very important for you to read and understand if you are going to be participating in SL. If you are new to SL it is highly recommended that you read this section. There is also an abridged ruleset to help you gain a general idea of how to play in Skirmish League.

» The FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions and contains a lot of information that is very helpful to individuals who are new to SL. It is highly recommended that you read this section as well.

» Lastly, the Staff Link gives you a listing of the current staff of SL. This staff works very hard to ensure the smooth and continuous running of SL. Staff members can be a valuable asset if you know them, so if you see one be sure to thank them and treat them with respect for the hard work they've done and continue to do.

The only other important page that we'll mention is the SL Mail page. You should find the link under the 'Personal' category on the left. This is a mail system within this site. You can send mail to any player that is registered to this site. You will be notified if you have any new mail by a ([number of new SLmails] new) appearing to the right of that link.

We hope you enjoy your visit to Skirmish League and find it a warm and welcoming one.

Sincerely,
The SL Staff
